Coole Lad, Class 1 Connemara stallion, bred in Ireland where he completed a performance testing programme run by the Connemara pony Breeders Society.
As a 5yr old Coole was sold to Shirwell Sport Horses International, who brought him back to England to stand at stud at Barnstaple until 2007.
Coole came to Ashford Cleave as a holiday livery whilst his owners were looking for a property in Ireland and when they came back we couldn’t bear to part with him and made an offer and he has now been at Ashford Cleave since October 2007.
Coole processes an exceptional temperament which he passes on to his off spring along with good movement and jumping ability. Coole is proving to be a very popular choice with owners of Thorough bred mares thus producing the Sports Horses and ponies, that will contest riding/pony Club competitions and yet still be capable of competing at higher levels.
